There should not be a need for panic, although Typhoid is serious, the catching of it as per my post, is via contact with basically faeces or the blood of a contaminated person.
Lack of hygiene in the handwashing department is the main cause then perhaphs food preperation, so I would guess unless you are medically involved with these people or they are handling your food, I think the risk is very small but still there.
