A cayuco has been intercepted 44 miles to the south of Tenerife. At the moment it is not known how many are on board. It will be brought into Los Cristianos around lunchtime today.

There were 110 on board, 6 of them possibly minors. All were apparently in good health, though 2 were taken to El Mojón hospital. The cayuco was spotted around 3.50 am 40 miles from Punta Rasca. It seems it left Gambia 10 days ago.
