Thanks everyone for your ideas and comments, I will tell Eugenio tomorrow about the rustic land, and I will contact the Canarian press. I have mailed round the radio stations already, and can of course get the situation into the Canarian Weekly. What gets me mad is that the ayuntamientos and police, especially Arona, want and need Eugenio to pick up dogs, they call him at all hours of the day and night to collect stray dogs, but they give him nothing. I cant believe that they dont have a piece of land somewhere doing nothing that they could give to him - he is doing their dirty work after all. The problem is he is too nice to kick up a stink - he is going to have to get tough with them - and fast. |
