Some of these are up there in the hundreds of Euros. I remember being in Corte Ingles once, and seeing a load of them hanging from the ceiling. One had a price of 48 or 49 Euros, and I thought that wasn't bad because that's what they were in Mercadona ... and then realized that in Corte Ingles that price was PER KILO!
There's a huge range of prices for a huge range of types of hams, but I think only a connoisseur could tell the difference at the upper end. Some of the cheaper end ones are greasy and nasty, but it's the lower middle range, sort of 75-150 Euros that I wonder about ...  | Thanks Janet I have never heard of this before
