Its difficult to evict him through legal channels as they would need the assistance of San Miguel ayuntamiento, and of course 230 homeless dogs would cause a problem for them. So they cut the water supply today. Forum member Apollo and her partner (both Live Arico committee members) were there at the time and started filling containers from another source on the golf course. Tony was physically attacked by one of the owners, but did not retaliate. They also emptied out the containers he had filled. Luckily, Live Arico has a lot of support from the owners of the villas on La Quinta, who rallied round and filled 100 8 litre containers with water from their own homes.
This highlights the need to aquire land at the earliest possible opportunity. Ironically, LA is closer than ever to a solution, if only these people could think a little further than their own bank accounts |
I hope something gets sorted soon Sue

Some people forget that the animal sancturies are doing them a big favour, by keeping all the dangerous dogs off the streets, they would be in great danger if there were packs of homeless dogs roaming all over the place and then that would really give them something to complain about.
