A lot depends on what you are qualified to do, Lisa. It is rare for people to have a job offer before they come over ... I know of two people working in banks who fall into that category (both with degrees in Spanish). Some of the larger hotels will also bring over people for the higher level jobs.
But if you are going to be looking for bar work, cleaning or telesales then you have to be on the ground, knocking on doors - with your paperwork in order. |
