There have been a few boats arriving over the last few weeks so I thought we'd have a News thread on it, to try to keep our own records on the numbers arriving. With the new frontier controls, there should be fewer than in previous years. Hopefully there will be fewer deaths if there are fewer boats, anyway.

For the moment, one was spotted today about an hour ago about two miles off the coast of Las Galletas. It's not known at this moment how many were on board.

The cayuco was escorted to Los Cristianos where they are presently disembarking and receiving emergency services assistance.
