Default Idioms/Sayings English to Spanish

I have always been fascinated with how sayings differ from language to language, so thought I would start a thread with a few

The first one is for ollyvee

a stitch in time (saves nine) una puntada a tiempo ahorra ciento
(yes, puntada is stitch but they need 100)

to put all your eggs in one basket poner toda la carne en el asador
(putting all the meat on the grill/spit)

a friend in need is a friend indeed en el peligro se conoce el amigo
(literally, in danger you know a friend)

Anyone have any more to add?
