Having read an article
HERE today about the rising cost of living on the mainland, it occurred to me that it would be very useful to have a thread on exactly how much it
really costs to live here.
I know things are going up (though a bottle of gas will be going down in price soon), but what are those "things" exactly?
I can think of annual rates, community charge (if on a complex), electricity, water, bottled gas (sometimes), petrol and running costs, food, insurance (household and medical), entertainment (or eating out) ...
Can we start to put a thread together to inform those who might be trying to do their calculations??
