This is the third time I have written this throughout this thread, previously I have read it and then chose to not post it however . . .
Those 'so called innocent civilians' had seen their forefathers and their parents go through the same 'ethnic cleansing' and genocide previously.
I do not condone what went on in Serbia but as the Son-in-Law of a Serbian, who had to leave his village at the age of 13 with his elder brother and walk all the way to Italy because the men and children of his village who were of fighting age were being shot and killed, I can see why eyes were perhaps closed.
4 years ago, he saw his younger brother for the first time in 60 years, his brother came to see him in the UK. It was only after that visit that he felt it was safe enough and he returned 'home' for the first time in over 60 years.
I think Karadzic should rot in jail and so should Mladic but please don't resent all Serbs, they themselves have been through the mill.
