Default Siam Park

After what seems like an eternity, it really does look as though this stunning new attraction in Tenerife is about to open.

According to Canarias24Horas HERE, work will finish imminently, with a month for final touches, and it will open between 16 April and 1 May. There will be an official opening ceremony in Autumn.

Siam Park will hold 5 world records: the park with the longest river; the greatest drop of such a river (up to 8 metres); the park with the greatest range of chutes; the largest Thai building outside of Asia; and the biggest artificial wave in the world (3 metres high). There will also be a white sand beach such as in Thailand.

The Park's official website is HERE.

Sorry to be pedantic, but as a mother of some years I have developed lovely sharp elbows, and kids are not called ankle biters for nothing

Sounds good!
Hope it opens soon. My partner gets us all the Tenerife excusions for free from the hotel she works in.
We have been on the Masca/Teide tour and went to Jungle Park last week.
Going to Aqualand today!
Trying to sort out Loro Park for next week or the week after.

Is La Gomera worth a visit??

La Gomera is definitely worth a visit. It's a beautiful island, very different to Tenerife, and the Garajonay forest is wonderful. Valle Gran Rey is picturebook pretty, but my favourite is Hermigua ... real rustic Canaries. We stayed HERE and it was just wonderful.

It looks good from the pictures I've seen, does any one know the admission charges yet?
....Forget that I've just found it on the website £21. That's quite expensive if you have a family of four.
