AVG suddenly seems to be more intrusive!? has anybody else noticed this, or is it just me? i now get frequent warnings about opening certain pages, incl. those that i would think can be trusted, like my email accounts... very odd - and highly annoying!!

Thanks Nico, same version as mine but mine is the free one, so CFG is obviously not suffering the difference between paid and free then

Re: AVG suddenly seems to be more intrusive!? You may have hit the nail on the head there Janet!
I remember several months ago getting all sorts of warnings and suspected viruses etc. I used Yahoo quite a lot at the time.
I uninstalled the Yahoo toolbar and don't use Yahoo for anything much now. Yahoo could be the problem
