Poor guy! He admitted the handball immediately after the match! Shame he didn't admit it immediately after the incident, though!

On a serious note, where does football draw the line then? What about a match where a penalty should have been given; should that be replayed?
I can see why FIFA says its impossible as it would leave football in disaray.
That said, I do feel very sorry for the Irish, they have been treated abysmally, particularly when you consider the 'seeding' incident.
Personally, I think its been a stitch up from the moment France failed to qualify.

FIFA have granted their permission for a replay of the last half of the extra time section of Wednesday night’s game to take place in Stade de France.
Ireland will be playing right to left ...
