My House Guest Has Gone And I Have Felt Really Bad About It

Until and half hour ago and I went to make cheese on toast.

OK - I knew she took my month´s supply of extra mature cheese out of the packet on Tuesday night and left it back in the fridge all open causing it to go all funny and crusty´

What I didn´t expect was to take a plate from the cupboard and for it to be dirty - not even washed

When I got to bed on Sunday night, I heard the blattering of plates etc in my kitchen and frig I don´t mind anyone helping themselves and making something to eat. When I got up on Monday morning, there was no sign of any mess and me being the clean freak that I am, I was happy enough.

But putting a used plate back in one of my cupboards without washing it is a no´-go.

So I don´t feerl as bad anymore - I couldn´t share with anyone like that - I don´t think anyone could??

I now know I´ve done the right thing.

I'm with you on that one Jacks. I could not be done with a "minger" in my house neither.

If we have anyone staying and they leave stuff lying around I collect it all up and put it on their bed. They soon get the message.

I'm glad she's gone... I know you probably feel bad but she took advantage of your kindness and hospitality and that's not on!

I would have done the same - only when she was here she slept on our sofa bed in the living room (which I had to put away while she sat on the terrace trying to talk small talk about the papers)

Thanks Jennie - you live and learn. I didn´t have her down for that type at all - it certainly does take all types eh?

It sounds like it's for the best hon, you didn't need the aggravation. You did your best for her, but some people just take advantage, so you have no reason to feel bad

but you are the most kindest & genrous natured person & these arses take complete advantage. They are called 'takers' everyone knows one or more, so don't feel alone.
