How do you book holidays from Tenerife?

OK, IF you wanted to go to say America or Thailand or Egypt on holiday from Tenerife, how do you go about booking flights/hotels. Us ex-pats are used to using the internet to book these things, but the providers are mostly UK based. It seems silly to fly to the UK then fly out to a foreign destination. Much better I would have thought to fly to mainland Spain, then on to wherever.
But - are there any Spanish/Canarian holiday companies that you can book with. Or am I doomed not to go on holiday - because life is one long one here on Tenerife

A local travel agent will keep you right I would assume.

There is a travel agent in the shops next to La Afortuanados in Las Chafiras

There are various chains of travel agents, with branches in most places. Try looking out for Marsans, a well-reputed and large agent, who also have THIS webpage on which, I believe, you can book online.

Similarly, another large agent is Halcón Viajes, and their website is HERE.

You could google others by using viajes, agentes, españa ... but Marsans and Halcón are two of the biggest ones.

I usually go back to UK to see my parents and go on from there to the states. Book it all via internet
