Our neighbour, Mr Stutter, has a pig. Not in the cottage right next door, but in his allottment further up the hill.
Said pig is in an enclosure, but only the sort of enclosure that a Canarian could build. Needless to say, pig got out today, and came to visit!
I was sitting at the kitchen table with the door open, when a black head appeared. I thought it was a dog at first, and got up to see. Got to the door and stopped short ... ruddy great pig!!!!!!!!!! In our garden
After the initial formalities, introductions, hand sniffing, etc, pig decided I was a friend, and followed me back up the hill to its little house. Ignored Perikles completely!

Loving it Janet, they like all leftovers, they are very lovely little/big things but not sure I would want one my my kitchen lol

Was just thinking, if it comes back I'll try to take a photo. If there's one of a pig in Torrenter's new photo competition, you'll know where it came from!
