Default Mobile phone networks

I need to get a new sim for my phone which is on O2 from the UK and has ran out of credit. I know Movistar are part of the same company so I am inclined to go with them. Can anyone suggest which network offers the best deals in terms of free texts and things?

Many Thanks!

Thing is, no-one can really say because they all do various offers all the time. It just depends on which week you go to any of them. I would say that coverage is more important than tariff choice, because there are some parts of the island where coverage is poor ... we can't use Vodafone where we live, for example.

I got a sim from Orange today that cost 5 euro and a scratch card for calls to the UK. Coverage is best with them where I live. I don't think you get any free text offers or rewards on Spanish networks do you?

Pay as You Go doesn't give you anything like you get in the UK now.
Even the contracts are only just starting to pick up on the bundle idea where you get calls and texts, but still not to the same degree as the UK.

What about texts to the UK, has anyone had experience of this, and would Movistar be cheaper than Orange for texting the UK?
