Electrocris and deposit refunds

Has anyone ever put a deposit on an item with Electrocris in El Camison. I have recently purchased and had delivered 3 separate electrical items from them. No problems were encountered with this particular transaction. I then gave a 50 euro deposit on a Yamaha tv stand, (or table as they call it) only problem is, I have now been waiting over 3 weeks, this is after being told it could be up to 10 days before it was delivered.

Although not planned I stayed longer in Tenerife on the belief that the tv stand would be delivered as promised. I am now in the UK, I have phoned Electrocris today to enquire about the tv stand. They have said they cannot find the records.

My friend in Tenerife who had agreed to take delivery for me when I was about to leave Tenerife has the paperwork. If the item is not delivered, can anyone tell me if Electrocris would be likely to refund after 3 months. I will not be back in Tenerife until May, and do not want to inconvenience my friend by asking her to visit the shop.

I've never put a deposit down with them P but I know some of the dudes who work there. I'm amazed they've let you down like this.

Why not ask your friend to visit the shop on your behalf? Failing that, I'd be glad to try to help if you can get the paperwork sent via email from your friend, let me know and I'll PM you my email and try to speak to them on your behalf.

They'll know me straight off.

That is a very kind gesture Coleen and I thank you for it.

My friend did contact me yesterday to say, that she had contacted Electrocris. They have said that there is not a problem...after my friend gave them the deposit page number...the item should be delivered about Tuesday 9th February. Possibly a case of their "manana"...and my lack of patience!

one thing we need to learn here is that although shops would like to have received ordered goods by a certain date, they are often let down - and we end up blaming the shops when it's not their fault.
