I tried to purchase something today with my debit card (Santander) only to be told my card had been declined. It was all OK yesterday

I was unable to draw any money out at the ATM too.

I am unable to log on to my account also.

I have just spoken to Sandander and was informed, which was what I thought, that their whole on line, debit, credit system is down and they are working on trying to put it right. This has been since 10am this morning.

Just to warn any of you if you try to use your card it will not work at the moment, assume this is all over, definitely is the UK bloody annoying, honestly more and more I am getting really cheesed off with Santander, and as many of you know previously I have sung their praises, but have experienced so many problems with them lately

I wonder what time this was at?

I used mine at 14.50 and it was fine.

Must have fixed it.

Thats great news Michael, I was trying from 10 am until about 1pm and then rang them at 1.30 pm. I shall try again now.
