Hi. My wife and I are coming to Tenerife for Christmas next week and have booked an apartment at the Amarilla Golf Pebble Beach. They look nice but I cant find much info on the net or forums about the area so I wondered if anyone had any info on what its like there, things to do etc. Im probably not up to doing a full round of golf but I heard there is a pitch and put near by is that correct? The owners have sent us quite few bits of info by email but it would be nice to hear from some of you.

I can answer that bit. Amarilla does have a 9-hole pitch and putt, but it really is only for beginners. Price as I recall was 9€.

If you hire a car, Amarilla is a good base, with Las Chifiras shopping not far away.

Amarilla Golf has had a face lift recently and is looking pretty good. You can now walk right along the coastline through to Los Abrigos . The path is paved and lit up apart from one small section that they have not finished yet. The family went down at christmas time for a very pleasant stroll There are some nice looking restaurants there too.
As for Pebble Beach itself the appartments are not the newest on the island but are well looked after
