We have just come back ftom Buzzin Bar in Callao Salvaje and John the owner has been telling us about The Passion that takes place in Adeje each Good Friday. He said it was magnificent and there was barely a dry eye in the town. Apparently it is filmed on tv and broadcast to the whole of Spain. Has anyone apart from John Sharples seen it and what is it like. It is certainly booked in our calendar for next year.

Yes, and it is amazing. It is a real "Passion Play", with a procession down the main street with a Christ with a cross, enormous crowds, TV crews ... it really is worth seeing.
This year's Passion will be performed on 2 April from noon in Adeje, and if anyone wants to do more than just watch, anyone can participate provided they put their name down in the Adeje Centro Cultural. The Council is saying that all are very welcome to take part, Adejeros or from beyond the municipality. Children under 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult. TinerGuia
