If you can, go to the driving range as the lady Pros practice. Last year I was amazed at the 270-yard drives with no apparent strength or effort. It showed me that technique, not bodystrength was the key to long hits.
I'll be there for sure this year..

Spanish amateur Carlota Ciganda, 18, fired a six-under-par 66 in her second round at the Tenerife Ladies Open to take the clubhouse lead on nine-under-par.
Ciganda had one bogey on her front nine for an outward total of 37 but ripped up the back nine with seven birdies – and five in a row from the 11th hole – giving her an inward total of 29.
That number tied the LET’s record for the lowest nine holes in a tournament, previously set by 19 other players. It was Carlota’s lowest nine holes in a tournament, although she had previously posted two rounds of 64.
(Tenerife - Saturday 21st June 2008) -- Last week’s Portugal Ladies Open champion Anne-Lise Caudal from France takes a one shot lead into the final round of the Tenerife Ladies Open at Golf Coast Adeje.
The 24-year-old posted a third round of three-under 69 to finish the day on an eight-under-par total. The 2005 Tenerife Ladies Open champion Ludivine Kreutz, who missed the cut by one shot, caddied for Caudal.
Austria’s Eva Steinberger and Britons Rebecca Hudson and Melissa Reid share second on seven-under-par.
Spanish amateur Carlota Ciganda, the second round leader, extended her lead to four shots after seven holes but finished the day in a share of fifth place on six-under-par with fellow Spanish amateur Marta Silva, Denmark’s Lisa Holm Sorensen......
England’s Rebecca Hudson birdied the third extra hole of a sudden-death playoff against Anne-Lise Caudal from France to capture the Tenerife Ladies Open at Golf Costa Adeje on Sunday.
Hudson, 29, from Doncaster, began the final round one shot behind Caudal and posted a final round 69 in regulation play to finish on 10-under-par 278 in total.
Caudal, who won the previous week’s tournament in Portugal, was a shot ahead with one hole to play, but bogeyed the par-five 18th after hitting her second shot into a greenside bunker, from where she took four shots to get down. She signed for a final round 70.
Both players birdied the 472-yard 18th hole at the first extra time of asking. Hudson rolled in a 12 footer for birdie while Caudal replied by holing hers from four feet. They both made pars on the 18th at the second extra hole, both players just missing their birdie chances.
After Caudal took four at the third extra hole, the 377-yard par-four 17th, Hudson sank her three foot birdie putt claiming her second individual Ladies European Tour title and a first prize of €45,000.
..and Caudal's duffed sand shot on the 18th. To be fair; not an easy lie.
