Default Not just Spain: Welsh-based Ballantyne Homes have called in the administrators.

After posting this morning on the Spanish building constructor Martinsa-Fedesa going out of business, I now come across a report that Ballantyne Homes called in the administrators earlier this month leaving, amongst other things, part-built housing estates in Port Talbot and Pembrey, and a half-built block of flats in Cardiff.

watching ''newsnight'' last night was worse than any horror movie. Whats going on in the states is beyond belief and if you believe what some are saying its the start of the worst slowdown in history.

yes, but not just property. They think the big two mortgage lenders last week who had to be bailed out by the goverment are just the tip of iceberg and there are a lot of very rich people betting big money it will get a lot worse.
