Default Servicing a Car

Can one of you clever people please confirm how you refer to a car's annual service in Spanish? Is it servicio or would that be too obvious?

Aha! That would make sense! Thanks Janet

The chappie in the showroom said they would do a revisión on the car if I buy it but I'm assuming he meant a check-up, not the full service I want them to do in the deal. How would you interpret that?

Well, a revisión can be a check, but for a full service, you need to ask them if they will hacer la revisión anual or la revisión de los xxxx kilómetros.

Qué quiero que cambies el aceite, pongas liquidos nuevos, comprobes las pastillas de freno, y todo, sin trampas, ¡cabrón!

Well ok, maybe not the last word.

Can't you just get the service record and insist thay carryout the next service regardless of mileage
