I will be writing all the words and meanings so far down tomorrow and will look over them daily to try and learn.

Could we do 'food' next please as i think that would be rather valuable.

Thanks

If someone asks how you are - ¿como está?

You could reply:-

Muy bien, gracias. ¿y usted? - Very well thanks, and you?

Bien gracias. - Fine thanks

¡Estupendamente! - Great!

Tirando - So-so

At least I think that´s right

Being Scottish the first phrase i learned was No Tengo Dinero and they even wrote a song just for me, i may not have any money but all the love to give just dont ask me to buy a drink Only kidding,
Voy por la calle de la mano platicando con mi amor
y voy recordando cosas serias que me pueden suceder
pues ella me pregunta que hasta cuando nos iremos a casar,
y yo le contesto que soy pobre, que me tiene que esperar.

(coro)
No tengo dinero ni nada que dar.
Lo único que tengo es amor para amar.
Si asÃ* tú me quieres, te puedo querer,
pero si no puedes, ni modo, ¿que hacer?

?

David

Already we boys
Vamos a empesar ya Let's already empesaron
Ahora viene Now comes
Sa!
Kings, un poco mas de cumbia por favor Kings, a little more cumbia please

Voy por la calle I'm going down the street

Pues ya It already

Ni nada que dar Neither nothing to give
Lo unico que tengo es amor para amar The only thing I have is love for love

as in today can be animals so we all post 3 words in spanish meaning animals...

dog = perro

cat = gato

pez = fish
The thing that would concern me is,would I be pronouncing the words correctly.

Just what I was thinking as I was reading them aloud.

Can we be so pushy as to ask for 'pronounce as' alongside? for those members without a dictionary.
