Just remember that the vowels sound the same as you learnt them as a baby instead of pronouncing them as the letters they are pronounce them the same as you was taught in nursery you wont go far wrong! except for U wish sounds more like eughhh!
Example Tenerife Sur, isn't pronounced Tenerife Sir, its pronounced Tenerife Soor!
Which also means that W is DobleEughhhvey!

A question...

Do you ever use nosotros or vosotros when you are speaking as I don't think I ever hear these verbs being used...?

... pronoun

Yes to nosotros ... "we". Much less often hear "vosotros" ... you (pl), they tend to use "ustedes" for familiar and formal "you" (pl).

They are used for emphasis - JL gives me this example "Vosotros vayan a la playa, nosotros nos quedamos aquí" - you go to the beach, we will stay here.

EDIT: Latin Americans, though they learn vosotros in school, will use ustedes instead, as will probably Canarians, but mainland Spain will use vosotros for the informal plural "you"
