Default 3 words a day

I was told that if you learn 3 words a day in Spanish or Canarian you will be fluent in no time.

I can get by and I know most of the words, it's just putting them in the correct order I also think the older you are the harder it is, so it is quite hard for me but I still keep trying We are lucky to live in Valle San Lorenzo which is all Spanish. There are only 2 families of English on our complex and we are one of them. The neighbours are all lovely and very helpful.

What I like about the Canarians is that they correct you when you make a mistake and are totally unabashed about doing so! But I think one should feel flattered about being corrected because if they think it's worth the correction then they obviously think your Spanish is pretty good to begin with!

I was just about to say "they all do" when I realized that I couldn't know! On the occasions that I'm not corrected it could either be because I'm right ... or because I'm with Canarians who don't correct me!!
