| The whole thervetha thing i also cant get used to. It just sounds so weird to me. In some ways, using an S instead of a TH makes the language sound clearer, aswell as toning down the KH (J) sound into a H, although i can understand how the turning of some Ss into a H can be confusing, especially when trying to distinguish if someone has just referred to something plural. |

| No, I doubt it would Most things like this are generally regionally created, and then people look for an explanation. I suspect that the "king with a lisp" story was created to account for a regional difference in accent ... and that it's not actually true, let alone recorded anywhere ![]()
