I love winter as you dont seem to see the little gits. I live on Sotavento 2, near El Medano, and to be honest, the complex could do more. The administration has just changed so Im hoping they will be more accommodating. Keeping them out of the house in summer is a nightmare. I close all doors and windows at sun down and put the air con on. The house becomes a fortress, I am terrified and dont mind admitting it.

I´m hoping that is the explanation for the large cockroach I have just squashed as it walked across my living room floor (out from under my sofa).... ughh ... and I was just about to go to bed. Think I´ll stay up for a while ... and try to convince myself he was just a solo blow in

Apparently cockroaches don't like height, so the higher you live the better We live up in Valle San Lorenzo and we haven't seen one

But that may also mean that the cockroaches in Tenerife are fussy.

Getting my coat

Yes, very wide for most of the day ... but I usually do have them open when I´m at home .. I´ll drop a note to our ex President, now in house Administrator, who is quick to respond to any issues ...

... just don´t feel like heading off to bed though .... shiver

I know ...

But with the windows open today with the calima, I would put money on it being a blow in.
