 Supermarket Shopping on a Sunday We all run out of things at the most inconvenient times so I thought I would start a thread on supermarket shopping on a Sunday. Today I went to Hiper Trebol in Los Cristianos - the one on the right going down the hill towards the big roundabout. The store is open every day from 9am to 9 pm and on Sundays the store is open from 9 am to 8 pm. I also know the Hiper Dino in El Medano town is open on a Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm. Can members list the places they know to buy groceries on Sundays? Many thanks!

| Hiper Dino in Fanabe just before the Adeje turn off on the motorway is open 10 to 4 on a Sunday. It's the only big one I know of in this area that is open. Summerfield in Callao Salvaje is open 7am to Midnight 7 days a week.

| We love late afternoon shopping in Candelaria, lots of shops and Hiperdino there. Ice Creams and Churros with Coffee before the trip back. |

| I know it's not really just for a couple of supermarket basics but the big Spanish market in Santa Cruz is also open on a Sunday until early afternoon. You may call me naive if you like but when we were considering moving to Tenerife originally I thought that that's where I would have to do my 'fresh food' shop. As a tourist you don't really go around looking for large supermarkets and all the other shops like Chafiras that we've found since we bought our apartment.

| Are there any Supermarkets that you can order food etc ..online and pay for online..just like Tesco etc in the UK..or would it possibly become a Telefonica situation.  |
