Default How much does accommodation cost in Tenerife?

Im thinking of moving to Tenerife (i was born there) and id like some idea about permanent accommodation. Whats available generally and where? How much would a studio / 1 bed flat be? etc etc. Thanks.

Hi leafar, welcome to our fabulous forum!

Difficult to say how much accommodation will cost because it depends on where you want to live and whether you will have a car etc.

I think you would be looking in the region of about 300-400 euros a month upwards.

It varies greatly from area to area so you would need to be a little more specific. Also are you meaning to buy or rent?

To rent.

Im not sure where to live but i would prefer a highly populated area preferably with plenty od english speaking people, so that could be PDLA or maybe Santa Cruz, unless anyone knows of anywhere else.

By the way how do i get this thread moved to a more relevant part of the forum?

By the way again, im so jealous of you lucky b******, living in my country.

If your job involves entertaining, you would be better off in the south, rather than Santa Cruz

As PDLA is quite central you would end up getting less for your money. Plenty of places where you will find Brits; pockets of us all over the place.

Even better if you post them in the right place anyway especially when you seem to know what you are doing in forumland
