Default Does anyone know anything about the Monasterio restaurant?

It was recommended to us on our last trip but a query about where it was came back with 'up north'!

I have an idea it's somewhere near Loro Parque so would be good to round off a trip there before coming back to 'down south'.

Can any one give me directions? Is it good and do you need to book?

I have not been but heard from a few people that it is very good.

Going in from Santa Cruz side you go past Puerto de la Cruz on the motorway. Take the exit and follow the signs for "Los Realejos" and you will come to "El Monasterio" on the right hand side not far after leaving the motorway.

I lived in the North for a few months when i first arrived in Tenerife and heard a lot of good reviews about this place, I don't think you need to pre-book but from what I have heard the food and service is excellent and not too pricey either, I will be going one day when i get the chance

Look out for the sign to La Montañeta.

The Monasterio is well worth a visit, with a number of restaurants and a little, cute animal park. I love it there (also the food) and wish we were in the area more often!

That's the first time i've heard anyone complain about it.

Default Monasterio restaurant

We go every time we stay in Puerto.

The food is quite good & not overly priced.

If you go to the restaurant at the far end after your meal, for dessert or coffee, the views are wonderful.

I have never heard anyone complain about it either.

Well worth a visit.
