Default restaurante slovakia

we visited it the other night, for starters we had spicy toast ... beautiful, a bit like some spag bog with a covering of cheese and an egg on top and of course spices. 2nd course i had pasta with a creamy mushroom sauce and sliced mushrooms and sprinkled with cheese (not parmesan) P had half roast chicken and rice in an apricot flavour sauce. she said delicious . we were that stuffed couldn,t face 3rd course which if we had of done it would of been apple struddle and cream...! i was gutted that i couldn,t eat anymore cos apple....mmm .. oh so good ..so it,s "Restaurante Slovakia" calle juan reveron sierra, local 4. tel. 922753605. all this was on menu of the day and it is priced at 8.95€. oh and after asking for the bill we were asked would we like a drink on the house. i declined but P had a baileys and ice and the measure would cost about 4€ or more in the bars etc.

Just a little history if interested. The owner worked at the Fortuna for many years, he then managed the Nuevo Fortuna for a couple of years, before opening this one. So he really knows the business.

I dont think Marian owns the Slovakian one (could be wrong) but one of his ex waiters I think his name is Milan is running it.

from what i can gather , the staff in there now are most of the staff that worked in the "fortuna nova " round the corner from where they are situated now (next door bar 1 to the bistro) i think ,not sure on the names mentioned though
