Default Toni's - Greek & Cypriot cuisine

We went last night and can't wait to go back! The restaurant is a couple of locals away from the Bright Side Café, underneath the old market, next to Sunset Harbour. The chef of the BSC had recommended it and well, it's well worth a visit!!
The menu is cheap and cheerful (around 8€ for a main course) but we went for the special offer: 3 starters, 3 main courses and 1 dessert for 24 € in total! That's supposed to be for 2 people but we couldn't even eat half of it. If you let the chef choose on your behalf (you can tell them what you don't like), you even get a bit more.
Our starters were a Greek salad, pitta and olive bread (with 3 dips), meat balls (fantastic), cheese pastries (feta cheese - fantastic), zucchini fritters and cabbage rolls with rice & mince & herbs.
Main courses we were given: white fish in tomato sauce with olives, rice with spinach, mousaka (now I really, really don't like aubergines but this dish was superb!!), a dish of vegetables with sesame seeds, slow roast lamb and another lamb dish and a cold bean salad.
We had 2 bottles of wine and a small water and paid 43€ something in total, which we thought was a bargain. We couldn't even make it to the dessert any more.
They also do a menu for 4 people (3 starters, 3 main courses, 2 desserts) for 45€.
Closed on Tuesdays, I think.

You wish is my command

Telephone Number is 697 341 075

(note they don't - or didn't accept credit cards)

Give Toni a call and he'll book you in and give you better directions than I could.

Have a menu here, will try to scan and upload.

If you go, don't forget to tell them where you found the recommendation

Enjoy

Not brilliant scans, but limited to file size - think they're just about readable.

saffy's mum, you could park either by the old market or outside the moonlight bar (which is where we normally park, as by the market it always seems way too busy)
