Being quite new to all this I checked out some comments on here and other forums before even considering getting involved in the whole phone and broadband thing, and due to my lack of spanish decided to use an english speaking company to help me out
Well just assuming for a moment that you are for real, let's just hope you don't run into problems with Direct Telecom, because if you do ... they'll tell you not to bother going to Trading Standards to complain "because they don't speak English".
Direct Telecom is a company, you should know, which seems actively to dissuade its own customers from making legitimate complaints about its lack of service.
Oh silly have you finished work now? Looking forward to a night of no ADSL? You must have a dongle or something else you'd not be communicating now, unless of course you are in a Internet cafe or something.
You still haven't named the 'English' speaking company although we all know it's Direct Telecom.

I have to say after reading this thread i would be most annoyed too if i had recieved the service (or lack of) you seem to have received by Direct Telecom and i too have fiends in a similar situation after trying to change to the 'One Bill" tariff. However i've have been on "One Bill" for about 8 weeks and the changeover was very simple and painfree. I'm obviously one of the lucky ones (so far )
Hopefully Direct Telecom will take notice of this thread and do something to reassure any customers old and new.
