Nope, we are allowed to have bonifres I checked, apparently, the house is registered as a 'fruit farm', if you take precautions it is allowed.

This is typical Spain. We live on part of a 'finca' and is still registered as such but it didn't stop the Guardia civil barging in one day while we were burning some vines. No fine, but it didn't stop them from giving us a right roasting!.
Thats why we know about the license.

It's quite important for a building site - the vast numbers of paper cement bags, cigarette packets, and all kinds of stuff. A site is usually a tip, but even worse of rubbish can't be burned, and a problem if there is a wind and the cement bags blow away.
