Briton arrested in Playa de Las Américas for running mobile cocaine business
Night Unit 1 officers from Arona Policía Local have arrested a 43-year-old British man for running a mobile drugs dealing business in Playa de las Américas. At the moment he was arrested he had a half smoked joint behind one of his ears. It was not just hash that he was selling, however, as police discovered he also had a large amount of cocaine in his car as well.
The arrest took place on Tuesday evening after the Briton was stopped by a routine control point in C/. Arquitecto Gómez Cuesta in Playa de las Américas, near the Oro Blanco hotel. When asked why he had such a quantity of drugs in his car, he told police that he had to sell them because he had no other income. Both he, and the woman who was with him, were taken straight to the National Police Comisaría in Las Américas. JAA
