2010 Winter and Summer Rebajas (sales) dates announced

The January sales will start throughout the Canaries on 7 January, it has been announced by the Dirección General de Comercio. The date still has to be confirmed by the Government minister responsible, Jorge Rodríguez, but it has the backing of all the islands' commissions, businesses, unions and consumer associations. As soon as it is confirmed, it will be formally announced in the Boletín Oficial de Canarias (BOC).

The date was chosen so that the sales could start as soon as possible after Kings' Day on the 6th, to give businesses the best possible chance to have a successful "rebajas".

The sales will finish on 6 March.

The Summer Sales will be from 1 July to 31 August. JAA

I´ll be out doing a big of bargin hunting tomorrow.

Well, first day of the sales and they are starting at 40% this year! Got a pair of shoes at half price! Can't wait to see what reductions the second sales have in a month's time!
