Body found on the Playa de las Américas coastline

Details are still sketchy, but the Playa de las Américas Guardia Civil have found a body on the coast, in a rocky area with difficult access. The body is of a white man, not a Spaniard by appearance, thin, around 50 years of age, with greying blonde hair, wearing jeans, a black short-sleeved T-shirt and black flip-flops. There were two tattoos on the arms: one on the outside of the right forearm with illegible letters, and one on the inside of the left forearm of a flower crossed through with a dagger.

The cause of death is still being determined, as is the identity.

This poor individual has now been identified as a 48 year-old Russian, initials VK.
It is also now confirmed that the body was actually found on the Costa del Silencio coastline.

One should never speak ill of the dead but why do I get a tingle up my spine when it's a 48 year old russian male and It took so long to ID him?.
But all the same sad RIP
