Things are starting to ease here in the UK. There are fee free mortgages available now for the first time in months.

Hopefully we should be back to sensible lending in the next 6 months or so.

The UK banks are making £8 BILLION every year just on current accounts.

Couldn't agree more. Banks are hiding behind "the credit crunch" to justify hikes in all sorts of charges, while they try and recoup their losses.

I could rant on this subject for hours!
