I don't know whether anyone else has any details, but Canarias24Horas is reporting that Gloria Estefan will be performing in Tenerife on 19 September.

Confirmed by press release today. More than 10,000 tickets are now on sale for the Gloria Estefan concert on 19 September in the Centro Insular de Atletismo de Tenerife in Santa Cruz. Tickets will be 30€ for the general area and 40€ for the stands. They're available from Corte Inglés, Generaltickets de CajaCanarias, tick tack ticket de Carrefour, Discos Noda shops, La Camisoteca, and LM Producciones.com.

It was apparently a brilliant concert, with 15,000 people packing the Tíncer stadium in Santa Cruz last night from 7pm in advance of the 10.30 start. There had been doubts, it seems, whether the venue would be acoustically up to the job, but in the event, it adapted well to the technical demands.

Gloria Estefan has been performing throughout Spain, in Valencia, Madrid, Mallorca, Barcelona, and Zaragoza, and rounded her tour off with last night's two and a half hour performance in Tenerife ... and probably rounded her career off with it too, since she has said that she won't be going on the international circuit again.
