British man found stabbed to death in his Silencio home
The body of a British man was found in his home in Costa del Silencio last night. He had been stabbed several times. His body was found by a friend, and an autopsy is being carried out this morning to determine the exact cause of death.
The Guardia Civil is working on the hypothesis of a robbery given that the dwelling was disordered and that two windows had been forced open.

This is the picture C24H is showing of the outside of the place ... don't know if it helps anyone to identify it, but in the article, it's being described as a luxury development in the area.
The same article also contains the snippet that the victim was "of advanced age", and that his body was found at 5.20pm.

Slightly different detail in Diario de Avisos, who say he was "middle-aged", and that the body was found at 8pm.
The same paper says that neighbours were concerned about a light left on since Sunday, unusually so, and this makes police suspect the murder was committed then.
It appears that the dead man was not the actual owner of the house, because the report says his body was discovered by the owner. It seems that the poor victim's wife had only left for the UK on Friday.

The Government delegate in the Canary Islands, Carolina Darias on Tuesday reported the arrest of a man in connection with the death of a British citizen in southern Tenerife. The body of the victim was found dead Monday after being allegedly stabbed several times in his home located in a residential area of Costa del Silencio, South Tenerife. The body was discovered by a friend of the victim and Tuesday was necropsied to determine the exact cause of death. Police sources indicate that inside the house, which was the only man, had a big mess and two windows had been forced, which makes the hypothesis of theft take power in this case.
