New vehicle sales fall 35% in the Canaries

The automobile sector has had one of the worst years in its history with a fall of 35%. The used-car market fell 15% by comparison.

Discounts on new cars have ranged between 20 and 30% as a result of poor sales.

It's perhaps not a bad time to buy new if one is in the market for a change of car!

Just like property here, cars, especially new cars are unaturally high here, it was one of those blanche moments when we moved here discovering the price of new & used vehicles.

About time the price dropped & the stupid over the top import taxes & fees relaxed too.
