The Las Américas Guardia Civil have arrested four individuals, two of them minors, on charges of forming an organised robbery gang in the south of Tenerife. The charges involve nine burglaries in homes and commercial premises, four in Granadilla, and five in Arona, in which 700€ in cash was stolen, as well as jewellery, mobiles, laptops, other electrical goods, tills, and spectacles. Other damage in the premises concerned is valued at 5,000€. One of those arrested has recently come out of prison.
The robberies have been taking place over the last two months and had created great alarm in Arona Municipality.
