Re: The body of a stabbed man thrown from a speeding car in La Laguna
A few more details this morning on this horrible story ...
The victim was a 25-year-old Nigerian, and it appears that he was in the driver's seat of the car which was parked when he was attacked. His killers were in the car with him when the argument arose, it is not known exactly how many were involved. The attack happened around 3pm yesterday afternoon, near the petrol station in La Cuesta-Taco. After stabbing him in the chest, his killers threw him out into the street and drove quickly away.
It appears that the victim had been in the Internment Centre for foreigners at Hoya Fría a little over a year ago, so it is presumed that he was not legal in Tenerife.
Re: The body of a stabbed man thrown from a speeding car in La Laguna
This story's taking wings .....
National Police, Civil authorities, and Guardia Civil are seeking the attackers of this Nigerian who was stabbed (several times, it now appears) and thrown from a car.
The car being sought is blue, and is a private car, though the make and model are unknown. The Police think the attack was a settling of scores between drug dealers: at least this is the hypothesis they're working on for the moment. Witnesses say that the attacker who drove the car away was also black, and it seems there was one other person in the back of the car who opened the door and threw the body out, allowing the person in the passenger seat to slide over and drive the car away.

Two people are now being questioned for this killing, though the police are still investigating, and saying it's early days yet. There are now two versions of events for the police to investigate, with some sources saying that the dead man was walking along a pavement next to the Cercado Chico industrial estate when his killers jumped out of their car and fatally stabbed him several times, and others giving the original story, that killers and victim were in the same car, with the body thrown out of it onto the pavement.

Re: The body of a stabbed man thrown from a speeding car in La Laguna
Three Canarian men from the Taco area, local to the Cercado Chico Commercial Centre where the killing occurred, have now been arrested for the killing and will appear in court in either today or tomorrow. The police are saying there is no doubt that they have the guilty parties, and they even have the blue car, a Ford Courier, which has been investigated to see whether the killing occurred inside it or on the pavement, or even elsewhere with the dead man being carried there before being thrown out at Taco. The murder weapon has also been recovered. The three under arrest have previous convictions.

The three people under arrest for this murder have been remanded in custody without possibility of bail pending trial. They are Isidro Herrera Martel, Francisco Álvarez Orosa and Dailo Alfonso Negrín, all of whom have criminal records. The victim has been named as Prince Osita Nwaougu. Police say that the crime appears to have been linked to drug trafficking.
Police have recovered the knife and the car used in the murder, as well as another car used by the killers, all of which have been forensically examined and which show clear evidence of blood, which suggests that the murder did indeed take place in the car.
