San Miguel Ayuntamiento is to carry out improvements to the access road for Amarilla Golf. The works will involve resurfacing, proper signposting, and side safety bars (can't remember what they're called now ). These works will be carried for the whole length of the road running between Las Chafiras and Amarilla Golf. At last!

Drainage, pavement, telecommunications and electrical work have already been carried out, says the council, and the whole Urbanisation project will cost in the region of 10m Euros. The only other thing the council has left to do to complete its project will then be general prettying-up and the installation of a sewage treatment plant.

So will residents face charges on the Urbanization Charges. I know when the roads were resurfaced and improvments made in the Oasis del Sur area significant charges were made on our communities in the area. No immediate increases on our conmmunity fees but it did flatten the cash reserves.

I don't know, the report doesn't say, but I would have thought that some charge would already be in place because the majority of the infrastructure has already been carried out ... apparently. I would have thought there'd be some sort of Junta de Compensación payment in anticipation of the area being adopted ...

Perhaps someone with a property there could let us know ??
