Default Residents of various Adeje areas complain of being abandoned and neglected by the Ayuntamiento

Residents associations in various Adeje areas have come together to complain at the total lack of any response to their demands for the Ayuntamiento to give them the services they need.

The areas in particular are El Galeón, La Postura, Los Olivos, Los Menores, Taucho/Tijoco, and La Hoya, and residents say that they feel isolated and ignored, and that the services offered to their areas don't address the real-life problems of the residents there. Nor, they complain, do they have the much called-for bus services to connect their regions with the coastal areas where so many of them work.

The lack of parks, gardens, cleaning of pavements, public spaces, sports halls ... the whole thing gives a feeling of being abandoned and totally neglected by the Ayuntamiento, say the residents associations.

It's a bloody disgrace really, because they're just asking for an answer! Even that would satisfy them for the moment!

Speaking for Los Menores, we get the streets cleaned regularly, flowers planted etc 2 new playgrounds last year - not too shabby.

I wished we had more say in the flipping motorway infrastructure plans a-building currently nearby though.

What about buses Torrenter? I must admit to being a bit taken aback when I saw the list of barrios because they're all really very nice areas ... but I think it's more the public service infrastructure, and particularly transport. Does Los Menores have public transport now??

For 2 years to my knowledge there have been bus stops at the top of our small estate and regular service to LC. Having the Atalaya supermarkets close but not too close is a great boon, and a side-effect of the TF1 extension nearby will be improvements to the TF82 and a reduction in it's traffic near us. There will also be a new local road connecting with Armemeñe directly from the bottom of our estate.

We also have 2 sets of big recycling bins emptied regularly.

My estate is fortunate in having decent amenities but without community fees or too much interference.
