Default A tourist has disappeared on an excursion up Teide.

A tourist disappeared from an excursion up Teide yesterday afternoon after becoming separated from friends and family. An alert was raised at around 6pm, when it began to get dark and all were reunited at the Parador where it had already been agreed to wait for the group in the case of separation. Numerous search parties have so far failed to find any sign of the person's whereabouts, of whom there are as yet no details other than that he is male.

It was pretty "chilly" down here too. Hope he's found soon!

Found in Barranco del Río, apparently. He's 49 years old. Bet he's popular! He's in good health, though, which is the main thing.

It appears "Ignorance is Bliss" Bet his family and friends had a bit more to say to him than just "Thank God you are safe"

Another one lost up there now ... 28-year-old man got lost Friday afternoon and was found at 4 in the morning (again) ...

What is about Teide, is it that easy to get lost? And why 4am again??
