The Centro Cultural de La Caja de Canarias will host the Bollywood musical spectacular "Ramayana: a 100 rupee journey" next week on the 4th and 5th December.

The performance is an interpretation of a Hindu epic offered by the Kala Dance Theatre Company, a group from India and Spain composed of professional musicians, dancers, and actors. It is being presented as a "total spectacular where artists of different disciplines unite to recreate the most popular Indian story told from a contemporary perspective, combining tradition and modernity, and with choreography uniting ancient sacred dances with Bollywood style."

Tickets are now on sale from the La Caja de Canarias website Cajatique, by phone - 902 405 504, and in La Caja de Canarias ticket vending machines, and in the Centro Cultural de La Caja de Canarias box office.
