Agents of the Tacoronte Policía Local have seized 385 grams of cocaine during a routine narcotics checkpoint in C/. Narciso Hernández Cruz, Tacoronte.
Officers watched as a 22-year-old motorcyclist well known to them spotted the checkpoint and passed a package to a driver of a car. The car's driver tried to speed from the scene, but was blocked by the police in a cul-de-sac. When he was aware that he was being followed, he tried to throw the drugs out of the window, but it was discovered and confiscated by the Police as evidence.
Both motorcyclist and car driver are now in police custody awaiting due process.
